This was our election special, as our hut is being used as a polling station, the Scouts had a trip to CRAI Scout Activity Park for a Nerf Battle, we had a few games of capture the flag (sacred orange), and a few games of rescue the King (Ieuan)

This weekend we had a wet and windy camp at CRAI Scout Activity Park, unfortunately we had to cut the camp short. We still managed a pretty packed itinerary, including partnering up with 1st Cefn Fforest Scout Group for some pioneering!

Cubs! Great final session before half term for the Cubs, it was all about Home Safety and communication, identifying hazards in the home and understand about keeping your home safe. Even managed a game of crab football! Finished with 5 Cubs receiving their Chief Scout Award Silver and 3 Cubs giving their Promise. Well done, great effort!

Cubs! It’s was “outdoors indoors” activities tonight! The Cubs learned and showed their skills in putting up a tent in their groups and showed the Leaders they knew how to look after their tents. They then worked in teams to lash together bamboo and write a message across “shark infested waters”! Great teamwork tonight Cubs!

The Scouts have been catching up on some important Scoutmin this term.

Last week we had a mini Patrol reorganise, each Patrol had to pitch their Patrol to the panel of Scouts looking for a Patrol.

These week the Scouts were looking at the challenge badges, they had to start documenting their evidence for the badge criteria and work out how they were going to fill the gaps.
