𝐇𝐞𝐝𝐠𝐞𝐡𝐨𝐠 𝐃𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬: 𝐅𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐭 𝐓𝐮𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐥 𝐇𝐮𝐧𝐭!

Today, Year 3 and Year 5 pupils at Ysgol Gymraeg Caerffili became real-life nature detectives!

They took part in an interactive session exploring the climate and nature emergencies, learning why protecting wildlife—like hedgehogs—is so important.

Afterwards, the Eco Council put their thinking caps on, using their detective skills to investigate the school grounds and decide on the best possible location for a hedgehog house.

A fantastic day of learning, teamwork, and taking action for nature! 🌿

Heddiw, daeth disgyblion Blwyddyn 3 a Blwyddyn 5 yn Ysgol Gymraeg Caerffili yn dditectifs natur go iawn!

Fe wnaethant gymryd rhan mewn sesiwn ryngweithiol yn archwilio’r argyfyngau hinsawdd a natur, gan ddysgu pam mae diogelu bywyd gwyllt—fel draenogod—mor bwysig.

Wedi hynny, rhoddodd y Cyngor Eco eu capiau meddwl ymlaen, gan ddefnyddio eu sgiliau ditectif i archwilio tir yr ysgol a phenderfynu ar y lle gorau posibl ar gyfer tŷ draenog.
Diwrnod gwych o ddysgu, gwaith tîm, a gweithredu dros natur! 🌿
