💚 We’re looking for donations!

We’re having a little push on our fundraising at the moment and are looking for a few things we can use to raise money for the rescue.

👗 Clothes, shoes & bags
If you’re having a clear out, we’d really appreciate any new or good condition clothes, shoes or bags that we can sell on Vinted. Please just make sure they’re clean and in a good condition.

🎁 New gifts & bottles of alcohol
We’re also looking for any new, unwanted gifts or unopened bottles of alcohol that we can use for our raffles, tombolas and fundraising events.

If you have anything you think we could use, please get in touch or drop us a message

It might not seem like much, but all of these donations help us turn things we no longer need into money for the animals. 💚

🎉 WE HAVE BIG NEWS! 🎉

We’ve had to keep this one quiet for a little while, but we can finally share it…

Little Nest Rescue has been awarded £16,450 from The National Lottery Community Fund! 🎟️💚

The funding will support a brand-new project over the next year Connecting People, Animals & Community.

This isn’t funding for our general running costs or for the care of our animals. It’s specifically for developing the work we do with people in our local community and creating new opportunities for people to get involved at Little Nest.

So, what are we going to be doing? 👇

🌿 Hands-on sessions for children, young people and adults
🐴 Animal care and time spent around the animals
🌱 Gardening and nature-based activities
🎨 Crafts and creative activities
🔨 Practical jobs and learning new skills
🚜 Developing and transforming our outdoor spaces

We’ve always believed that animals can have such a positive impact on people, and we’re really excited to be able to open up more opportunities for people to experience that for themselves.

For a small charity like ours, £16,450 is a huge amount of support, and we’re incredibly grateful to National Lottery players for making this project possible. ❤️

There’s lots to get started on, and we can’t wait to show you what we’re creating over the next year! 🌿🐴🦙

🦙💚 Please welcome four very special new arrivals to Little Nest Rescue! 💚🦙

Last weekend we welcomed Etta, Speculation, Rumour & Story four beautiful alpaca ladies who were looking for somewhere safe to enjoy their retirement.

These gorgeous girls have a few additional needs, so when we were asked if we could offer them a space here at Little Nest, we were more than happy to say yes. 🥰

They have a safe place to call home, plenty of space to enjoy, and all the care they need to live out their retirement surrounded by people who understand their needs. 💚

We’re sure you’ll be seeing plenty more of these four as they settle in and get to know everyone!

Last week, our gorgeous trio Pip, Peaches & Parker bagged themselves a fabulous new home! 🥰💚

One handsome boy and two beautiful girls and the best part is they get to stay together! 🥹🐾

We couldn’t be happier knowing they’ve found a wonderful home where they can continue their adventures as a little trio. 💚

Good luck, beautiful babies! We’ll miss you! 🏡🐾✨

🎉 We’re out and about today! 🎉

We’re at the Irlam & Cadishead Festival at Prince’s Park today, and we’ve brought plenty of fun along with us! 💚

Come and say hello to the Little Nest Rescue team and have a go at our tombola, Booze or Bust and some of our other games there are prizes to be won and hopefully plenty of laughs too! 😄🎟️

The festival is on today, Bank Holiday Monday, from 11am–5pm, with lots of stalls, entertainment and activities throughout the day.
