In the UK, we also work with adults to gain essential digital skills through our flagship Computer Learning Programme. To empower children to reach their full potential through education, social housing, healthcare and community development. No child chooses what conditions they were born in, but every child deserves an opportunity to develop their potential to a brighter future. We are a UK based
charity, operating in Greater Manchester and Ghana. The aim is to build the confidence of the children, enhance their computer skills, giving them higher competency and a foundation for the job market. The project is intertwined with guest speakers who come in to chat with the children about future aspirations and goals, thereby boosting their confidence, inter-personal and social skills, encouraging them to give-back to the community. The project is all inclusive, and for children between the ages of 7-14 years old. In Ghana, we support orphans and disadvantaged children by giving them the opportunity to reach their full potential through educational sponsorship, raising funds towards medical and healthcare cost, social housing - building a new children's home and community development. Educational Sponsorship: There are many disadvantaged children in Ghana, a third world country, who are academically gifted, but have to drop out of school due to lack of finance. Most start selling wares in traffic or by the road side to survive. This leaves them without a bright future and hope. Our aim is to find sponsors who will sponsor their education to whatever level they can achieve. Healthcare: Patients have to pay for their medical bills. We help to raise funds to support orphans and child/ren with long term healthcare, to get the best medical care available. Building Project: The new family oriented home we are building in Ghana will house orphans, with house parents surrounded by love, care, boundaries and discipline every child needs. The children will be part of the family: nurtured, provided for and brought up with the confidence of belonging, and being cared-for as every child should be.
