π¦ Daisyβs short story! π
We love a happy ending, which was the outcome for the little girl hog named Daisy, from Greenmount! π¦β€οΈ
Daisy was brought to us after being spotted out in the day π¨
She was quite poorly and weighed in at a tiny 395g. π
π¬ Faecal π©analysis revealed that poor Daisy was battling both Crenosoma (lungworm) and Fluke π¦ parasites. No wonder she was feeling under the weather! π°
π We started her on the necessary medications and pain relief to clear those nasty internal π¦ parasites.
Daisy proved to be a fighter! She made a very quick recovery and definitely didn't miss any meals π... growing to a whopping, healthy 806g!π¦
β¨ 18/05/2026 Daisy was officially microchipped then released back to her garden on21/05/2026! π³
Huge thanks to Catherine, who looked out for Daisy and brought her to us. Daisy is now happily back in Catherineβs garden in Greenmount, doing what hedgehogs do best. π‘π±
Thank you all for your continued support that makes rescues like Daisy's possible! ππ
