The Rotary Club of Tottington & Bury West have been involved with Bury Council & the local schools in regenerating Whitehead Gardens, with a rededication planned for 9th June. We are looking to contact relatives of the Whitehead family or anyone else who was impacted by the bomb which destroyed the houses that stood in what is now Whitehead Gardens. Please contact the club if you can help trace any of these relatives.

Merry Christmas and Thank You to everyone who said hello to Santa and donated to our Christmas collections. Every penny we collect goes into our charity account which we use to make donations to various charities throughout the year.

Santa will be out again tonight on a new route, starting at 6.30pm. As he ran out of time last night & missed a couple of streets, he will stop on Garside Hey Rd at the ends of Toon Cres & Collen Cres, if anyone wants to go along to say hello. Obviously we cannot take the sleigh down Nithe and Wye walks so Santa will stop at the end on Kingsbury. Also he will stop at the end of Whitehead Cres & Lepp Cres as there is nowhere to turn the sleigh round at the end of these.

Santa will be out on his sleigh again this evening starting at 6.30pm, this is the intended route but as always it's dependant on road conditions and time, as this is along route and we are only licenced until 9pm. Also we are not allowed to stop on Brandlesholme Rd.
