Proposals for a new specialist school to support Bury's most vulnerable young people

The proposed Ash Grove Alternative Provision Academy would bring together services that are currently spread across different locations.

By bringing pupils, staff and support services together in one location, the facility would create more opportunities for personalised learning, improve access to specialist support and help children and young people who face significant barriers to learning.

Here you can meet representatives from Bury Council, the project design team and education partners, view the emerging proposals, ask questions and provide feedback before a planning application is submitted.

SLEEP QUESTIONNAIRE-

NHS Greater Manchester is developing a universal sleep support offer for families of children aged 5 years and over with autism and/or ADHD who are experiencing sleep difficulties.

The aim is to develop an accessible, evidence-based, non-medicalised and neuro-affirming offer, without the need for a formal diagnosis. Support could include online information and resources, webinars, parent sessions, coaching and more targeted support where needed.

We want families to help shape this offer from the outset. We are working in co-production with Parent Carer Forum representatives to ensure the offer reflects the real experiences and needs of families.

We have developed a short questionnaire for parents and carers across Greater Manchester to share their experiences of sleep difficulties and the support they feel would be helpful.
Please could you cascade the questionnaire through your networks and encourage as many families as possible to take part.
