๐Ÿ’™ Over ยฃ7,000 raised in memory of Paul Leather

Yesterday, we made the trip down to Surrey to catch up with Team North to congratulate them on completing their incredible 25-mile Jurassic Coast Hike.

The team took on the challenging route from Ringstead to Swanage and, despite finding the hike incredibly tough at times, pushed through together and completed it in memory of their much-loved friend and colleague, Paul Leather.

Paul sadly passed away last year while taking part in the NC500 cycling event. Supporting Veterans into Logistics was a cause close to Paul, through his friendship with someone he served alongside who went on to found our charity.

The team have now raised an amazing ยฃ7,000+ for Veterans into Logistics, helping us continue to support ex-service personnel with training, qualifications and opportunities to build stable and rewarding careers after leaving the Armed Forces.

This isn't the first time Team North have gone above and beyond for us either, having previously taken on the Welsh 3 Peaks in aid of VIL two years ago.

A massive thank you and congratulations to everyone who took part, donated and supported the challenge. We're incredibly grateful for your continued support and proud that this challenge was completed in Paul's memory. ๐Ÿ’™

๐Ÿ’™ Thank you to The Duchy of Lancaster Benevolent Fund

Weโ€™re incredibly grateful to The Duchy of Lancaster Benevolent Fund for recently awarding a grant to us here at Veterans into Logistics.

As a small charity, funding like this makes a genuine difference to the work weโ€™re able to do, both with the charity and with our new job board - Next Deployment.

It helps us continue supporting Armed Forces veterans to overcome barriers, access training and qualifications, and ultimately move into meaningful and sustainable employment.

A huge thank you to the Duchy of Lancaster Benevolent Fund for believing in our work and helping us continue Driving Veterans Forward. ๐Ÿ™Œ

๐Ÿš€ Talking cyber security and veteran employment at the National Space Centre

We recently had the pleasure of catching up with His Majestyโ€™s Lord-Lieutenant of Leicestershire, Mike Kapur OBE CStJ, at the National Space Centre.

It was great to discuss all things cyber security, while also sharing more about the work we do at Veterans into Logistics to support veterans with training, qualifications and opportunities to build rewarding new careers.

A fantastic opportunity to spread the word about our mission and make new connections within the Armed Forces community.

๐Ÿšถ 25 Miles in Memory of Paul Leather ๐Ÿ’™

A dedicated Team North featuring the Defence & Justice Sector are taking on a challenging 25-mile Jurassic Coast Hike, walking from Ringstead to Swanage to raise vital funds for Veterans into Logistics.

The challenge is being completed in memory of their friend and colleague Paul Leather, an Operations Manager at North who sadly passed away while taking part in the NC500 cycling event last year.

Paul had a close connection to our charity through a friend he served alongside, and supporting veterans into training, employment and stable careers was a cause he cared deeply about.

This isn't the first time the team have gone the extra mile for Veterans into Logistics either. Two years ago, they took on the Welsh 3 Peaks in support of our charity, and we're incredibly grateful to have their support once again.

We wish the whole team every success with this latest challenge and can't thank them enough for choosing to support VIL while honouring Paul's memory. ๐Ÿ’™

Every donation helps us continue Driving Veterans Forward by supporting more veterans into training, qualifications and meaningful employment.
