Even Elvis did not exceed decibel levels!

FYI, music decibels were kept within the levels requested by West Suffolk Council. A council representative was on site all weekend monitoring levels using calibrated equipment. We spoke to him on both days and he was happy no noise guidelines were broken. Well done to the Nearly Festival Team. You smashed it 👊

Well done to all the Nearly Festival attendees; you dodged most of the rain🌧️. Great to see soo many family’s having fun. We are soo looking forward to next year as 2026 will be their 10th year at the Abbey Gardens. Amazing considering the difficulties and all the council meetings we attended as the Support Group, to fight to keep events in the Abbey Gardens. We are still active and will continue to support the Nearly Festival Team. Roll on 2026 and another great festival weekend 🥰

Day 2 and another sell out. Please let us know what you feel about the event so I can pass your positive vibes to the organisers. Even Micky and Minnie Mouse made an appearance for all the kids having fun here. Yes the key word here is FUN 🤩

So yesterday’s event was a sell out. Every generation was enjoying a fantastic family friendly festival, safe and accessible to all. And yet again we have one resident complaining which made it challenging for organisers and artists. This is one weekend in 52 where local people can enjoy themselves. The town was busy with attendees having lunch and others finishing their day in local pubs. This event is such an asset to the town and we must not allow such short sighted people to rule the majority. The Support Group are wishing the organisers another fantastic day.
