Bach or cake? We were lucky enough to have BOTH today!

What a glorious way to spend a Saturday as we rehearsed for our forthcoming concert: Bach’s Mass in B Minor at The Apex on 14.11.26.

Many thanks to our wonderful bakers for providing the 🍰🧁goodies to fuel our choral energy and to everyone for such a brilliant rehearsal.

Join us for Evensong tomorrow, Friday 9 October, after which we will celebrate the launch of our new CD, performed by Assistant Director of Music, Richard Cook, alongside the Cathedral Choir. The CD is a tour of the liturgical year through the music of Marcel Dupré, featuring one of the most significant solo organ works of the twentieth century: the Symphonie-Passion, Op. 23. There will be a chance to hear some of the repertoire recorded on the CD during and after Evensong.
