How has beautiful Misty had no applications? 🥺🧡

At 10 years young, Misty is the perfect mix of affectionate and independent. She loves a good groom, enjoys playing with her toy mice, and would love nothing more than a cosy home of her own.

Sadly, she keeps getting overlooked while other cats find homes around her. We know her perfect person is out there, they just haven't found her yet.

After putting out a post about needing kitten food, we have received a huge bag of Whiskas kitten biscuits delivered by Amazon.

We have two new arrivals, one girl and one boy. Both are black and both are a little shy as they settle into rescue life.

They are safe with us and slowly gaining confidence, but we would love to give them the perfect start by finding them the perfect names.

Please leave your name ideas in the comments. The suggestions with the most likes will be considered for their official names. We will pick the names next week, we cannot wait to see what you come up with!🐾🧡

🧡🐾 CAT OF THE WEEK: MISTY 🐾🧡

This week's star is the lovely Misty!

Misty is a beautiful 10 year old tortoiseshell and white lady with a sweet, affectionate nature. She enjoys human company and is looking for a loving forever home where she can spend her days being cherished.

She is in excellent health for her age, has recently had a dental procedure, is up to date with her vaccinations, and has no known health conditions.

Misty has never lived with other cats or dogs, so we are looking for a home where she can be the only pet. While she hasn't lived with children before, we would consider homes with older, sensible children.

🏡🧡 HOMED: ARTHUR 🧡🏡

Many of you will remember Arthur, the stray ginger tom who arrived with us suffering from a terrible neck wound.

After receiving the veterinary treatment he needed, getting neutered, and beginning his recovery, we discovered that Arthur was FIV positive. Finding the right home for an FIV+ cat can be more challenging, so we reached out to our wonderful supporters for help.

The response to Arthur's appeal was incredible, and we want to say a huge thank you to everyone who donated, shared his story, and cheered him on throughout his journey. 🧡

Shortly after our appeal, a lovely couple got in touch. They already shared their home with an FIV+ cat called Larry and wanted to know whether they might be suitable adopters for Arthur. Because FIV+ cats often need very specific homes, we knew they could be exactly what Arthur had been waiting for.

We're delighted to say that Arthur has now been settled in his new home for a little while, and his adopters have sent us the most wonderful photos and updates. Seeing him enjoying lap cuddles with both of his new parents and snuggling up with his new best friend Larry has made us so, so happy.

Watching a cat go from injured stray to beloved family member is exactly why we do what we do. Seeing Arthur safe, loved and content after everything he has been through is the happy ending we were all hoping for.

Thank you to everyone who supported Arthur's appeal and shared his journey. Every donation, share and kind word helped give him the chance to find the perfect home.

🧡🐾 KITTEN FOOD APPEAL 🐾🧡

Our foster carers are currently looking after several growing kittens, and we're in need of kitten food to help keep their little tummies full!

Kittens need plenty of nutritious food as they grow, and our foster homes can get through a lot of it very quickly. Every pouch, tin or bag donated helps us continue providing the care these youngsters need until they're ready to find their forever homes.

If you'd like to help, donations of wet or dry kitten food can be dropped off at the sanctuary or placed in our collection bins at Tesco and Sainsbury's.

Your support helps us give vulnerable kittens the very best start in life, and we're incredibly grateful for every donation received.

This handsome boy has now settled into his new kingdom, where he'll receive all the love, attention and comfort a prince could wish for.

Brutus has found his forever home 🧡

This special boy came to us from Italy and quickly stole hearts with his gentle nature. After testing positive for FIV, we knew the most important thing for him was a safe, understanding home where he could be loved and kept indoors.

We are so happy to say Brutus has now found exactly that.

He has gone to a wonderful home with people who truly understand his needs and are ready to give him the calm, secure life he deserves. No more uncertainty for this lovely boy, just comfort, care and plenty of love.

Happy new life Brutus, you are exactly where you belong 🐾
