We’re delighted to welcome Pakefield Parish Church to our c-a-f-e (coffee and friends events) network! This warm and friendly clifftop church has spectacular panoramic views of the sea and offers a lovely place to meet, chat, create and connect.

• Coffee Morning — Wednesdays, 10.30am–12pm
• Messy Vintage Adult Crafts — 4th Friday of the month
• Messy Church for children — 2nd Saturday of the month, 10.30am–12.30pm

There’s even more happening at the church too, including Tuesday children’s groups, Pakefield Patchers quilting, sewing and knitting group, weekly services and more.

We've loved welcoming the team from Essex & Suffolk Water to our visits. They've shared some brilliant advice and practical tips, and it's been great to have them chatting with our visitors.

We'll also be popping along to Debenham Leisure Centre on Tuesday, so if you're nearby, come and say hello!

Fancy a cuppa and a chat?!☕

We'll be visiting communities across Hartismere over the coming weeks to answer questions about smart water meters and share water-saving tips.

Many of our visits will be with our friends, the Rural Coffee Caravan, who provide an amazing service in Suffolk, bringing people together to alleviate loneliness and helping them to access information.

📆Tomorrow we’ll be at Wortham Village Hall, IP22 1PP between 2pm and 4pm.

📆 Next Tuesday (27 Oct) we’ll be at Debenham Sports & Leisure Centre, Stowmarket, IP14 6BL between 12pm and 1pm.

MindfulCare Training and Consultancy and Shaftesbury Suffolk Memory and Dementia Support service are offering free dementia training for community groups across Suffolk.

The training is aimed at staff and volunteers and the sessions will share ideas and techniques that can be implemented without your own services to help those living with dementia to feel welcomed, included and able to take part.

There are three options available to best suit your team:
• Understanding Dementia and Person-Centred Support (3hrs)
• Dementia Friendly Environments and Meaningful Activity (3hrs)
• Full Day Programme (Both sessions, either delivered in one day or across two half days)
