This is Lukia. Lukia's parents died when she was 8, and she came to Jacaranda Foundation and School in Malawi for her entirely free secondary school education after her extended family had refused to pay any school fees and thrown her out of the house. Lukia is now in her second semester at University, being sponsored to study for a Bachelors in English Language and Literature. She wants to be a teacher.

"After I graduate from college, I want to be a change agent in my community in . A change agent within the classrooms, the schools and the wider community and society as a whole."

Meet Olivia. She joined Jacaranda School for Orphans in 2013 after dropping out of school as her mother couldn't afford to pay her school fees.

After her entirely free secondary education at Jacaranda, Olivia is now being sponsored to study for a degree in Business Management. So many young girls drop out of school in and are forced to marry young to ease the financial burden on their family. Jacaranda UK is Breaking this Cycle, and young women like Olivia are going to shape Malawi's future.
