Busy couple of months coming up!

I’ll be at various school fairs, corporate employee shopping events and these lovely markets in the community.

Last night, I was invited to attend a fundraiser for St Nicholas Hospice Care at The Athenaeum BSE and what a beautiful event it was for such a worthy cause!

Brilliant speakers included award winning garden designer, Tom Hoblyn and Clare Foster, Garden Editor at House and Garden.

Thank you to everyone who stopped to chat and support my small business- always a pleasure meeting so many of you.

I’m attending the St Nicholas Hospice Care business networking event in Bury St Edmunds on 22nd October. If any of my small business friends would like to come along and meet other local businesses, let me know and I’ll send the link.

The September ‘Grow For Schools’ winner is…

Although is not a school, they support and provide counselling for children, young people, and adults experiencing emotional or mental difficulties.

Kernos Centre will receive 5 plants to place in their wellbeing room for children and adults to enjoy. All plants include a care card and tips on watering, best light conditions and general care.

This Dracaena definitely needed this repot and what I found surprised me!

I have 3 more or these to repot for a new client but it’s satisfying knowing there can’t be more root rot happening now that the first one’s repotted.

I use a fertiliser to feed the plant.

I also use horticultural soap to clean the plant (drop me a message if you’d like a link to the soap and 5% off)

Kokedama means moss ball - your plant is perfectly displayed in a natural moss ball, instead of in a decorative pot.

Connect to nature, get your hands in soil and switch off for an hour and half.

🌱 New For Grow For Schools 🌱

Grow For Schools is continuing for a 3rd year with Baby Bio plant food sponsoring the plant care kits and Ivyline GB | Fresh Inspiration sponsoring the decorative pots.

For the first 2 years, only schools in Bury St Edmunds and Sudbury could be nominated, simply because of locations that are easy for the plants to be delivered to.

However, from September 2026 🌱ALL SUFFOLK SCHOOLS🌱 can be entered into the draw to win free plants for their wellbeing or pastoral rooms.
