We need you to help us make Burton plastic free! 🤩🙌⭐

⭐Plastic Free Burton!⭐

We are looking for people from the community to get involved to help make Burton free of unnecessary plastic. You could be representing your family household, a business, a school, a community group or even the local Council.

All are welcome to join the meeting on Thursday 15th July at 7pm and will hear from guest speakers including Kate Copeland from The Globe Foundation and Gary Law from Burton Re-Run. The meeting will briefly discuss ideas for cutting down plastic, why it is necessary and the next actions that can be put in place amongst our community to start our plastic-free journey.

Let's cut back that single-use plastic! 🙌

Thank you so much to Anslow Nurseries who have kindly donated these beautiful plants for our Place of Welcome at Beresford Close Community Garden.

We all had great fun planting and watering them yesterday!

If you would like to join us next week, we are at Beresford Close Community Garden, DE14 2GA, every Monday morning from 10am to 12pm.

🚴‍♀️Bike Maintenance Workshop!🚴

Trent & Dove Housing alongside Burton Albion Community Trust, Cycling 2000 and Morrisons are hosting a Bike Maintenance workshop during half term next week!

Please bring along your bike for free repairs and complimentary food and drink on either Wednesday 2nd or Thursday 3rd June between 2pm and 4pm at the Burton Boxing Club on Bradmore Road.
