RUNNERS YOGA SESSION
‘Perform Better, Injure Less, Recover Faster’
Yoga can absolutely complement running! ☺️
The repetitious nature and impact of running can cause injuries from overuse and chronic shortening of the muscles😌
Specific Yoga can help reduce the risks with working on :
• Good posture
• Great alignment
• Lots & Lots of specific stretching (and why over stretching isn’t good!)
• improved range of motion
• Regaining torso stability to improve efficiency
In this workshop we will focus on the yoga specifics for improved running performance, look at what can go wrong and how we can use targeted stretches to overcome aches, pains, common injuries and improve range of motion.
This workshop is also suitable for cyclists, active people or anyone who runs in their chosen sport.
It will be quite different from my ‘flow yoga style class’ 😊
Session will be relaxed and informal!
* I am a fully qualified and accredited Yoga Teacher with over 25 years yoga practice experience.
Also, a registered and nationally accredited Specialist Yoga Teacher for Sports and Athletes.
