Huge congratulations to Sophie on achieving this amazing award — you’ve worked incredibly hard for it and it is so well deserved. We’re all so proud of you! 👏

The Earth Tribe Award encourages us to learn about the environment, protect nature, and make positive changes in our communities. 🌱

The award focuses on:

☀️ Go Solar

As part of the award, one of our members has been sharing simple ways we can all help care for the planet:

🚶‍♂️Walk where possible instead of driving
🛠 Fix things instead of buying new
💡 Turn off lights and taps when we don’t need them

Small actions really do lead to big change 🌎✨

Late posting however…

Friday night found Burton Network at Branston-17th Burton Scout Group Quiz Night!
Did we win? Yes we did 🏆 so it was only right to go to Blacksmiths Arms to celebrate 🍾

Peggy the mascot enjoyed the pub that much, she even stayed for a sleepover, and have to be collected the following day 🙈

Here’s a little update from the past couple of months… ✨

We kicked things off with a hilarious game night 🎨 where the challenge was to draw 10 pictures in just 1 minute ⏱️ — let’s just say some of the results were VERY questionable… and had us all crying with laughter 😂

A few of our network members also joined forces with another group and headed off to Ireland 🇮🇪 to complete their Explorer Belt 🎒 — what an amazing adventure!

And of course, today we enjoyed a refreshing nature walk 🌿🚶‍♀️, finishing up in the pub 🍻… because honestly, why not!?

Festive chaos = COMPLETE 🎅🎄
Biscuit houses (some survived), collections with Burton Round Table, Christmas dinner, questionable party dances, pass the parcel drama… and lots of festive fuel 🥂😂
Wouldn’t have it any other way!
