“With hands we craft this poppy red,
A sign of thanks for peace widespread.
In joy we stand, in love we spread,
Remembering lives that bravely led.”

Our crafting ladies made two different poppies this month - a beautiful brooch and a paper poppy. Plenty of laughter was shared with this lovely bunch of ladies. Get well soon to those who couldn't make it.

Thank you, Carol Jones for the brooch idea.

We are so proud of our Singing for The Soul’s achievement last night at the Sir Gâr Carmarthenshire Centenary Concert. What a transformation from casual singing group to polished performers! Don't we look and sound gorgeous?

The Harmonic Hearts are a fantastic duo and we loved the operatic number at the end. Special thanks to Olivia and Sue from the Selwyn Samuel Picnic Club - you are fabulous and looked after everyone brilliantly. See you again next month! 🫖 🍰
