This through my door this morning. I know who you are. I recognise the writing. Thank you so much. X

Thanks to support from Fife Communities Climate Action Network and Fife Climate Hub Seed Fund as part of the Fife Climate Festival, FAB was able to host a lovely multigenerational garden party with the residents of Allan Court on 28 June.

We had residents, neighbours, family members, FAB volunteers, locals, and young visitors from the Broomhill Allotment Kids’ Garden Club all popping in for a chat and a cuppa.

Tam, one of Allan Court’s residents, provided the entertainment and had us singing and dancing away in the sunshine.

A big thank you too to Burntisland FRY for the sustainably sourced fish suppers, alongside refreshments in reusable mugs; all helping make it a joyful day with a slightly lighter footprint too.

It was a wonderful afternoon, and we felt very lucky to be part of it. Plus sun came out, which felt like a minor miracle.

Thank you to everyone who helped make it happen.

Even when there’s been a downpour the baskets and planters still need watered! Behold the original Big Bowser.

It’s been a busy few days for FAB - if you were out last Thursday you might have noticed an army of yellow vests hanging our beautiful baskets (lovingly planted up by The Plant Market) on the High Street. You’ll also spot planters bursting into bloom all around Burntisland. And if you’re *really* lucky you might have seen the new bowser in action!

None of this is possible without your donations or our wonderful volunteers. If you’d like to get involved email us [email protected] or [email protected]
