🎉 BURNS NIGHT 🎉

6️⃣ members of our lodge and family friends attended the annual Burns Night as part of the near 70 attendees organised by Padiham Masonic Hall Company.

The evening consisted of a very hale and hearty five course meal 🍽️ , various toasts 🍷 and opened with the Selkirk Grace 🙏 , followed by the traditional Robbie Burns “Address to the Haggis” delivered by WBro Alan Stewart JP and accompanied by the Piper.

Once the toasts were completed a raffle was held where £250 was raised by lodge members 👏 and will be shared amongst the community in time.

If anyone is interested in joining the Masons, get in touch and come along for an informal chat 💬

BURNS NIGHT 2025

Members of Calder Lodge 4565 and Marsden within Pennine Valley Lodge 6183, along with family and friends came together to celebrate Burns Night on 25th January at the Masonic Lodge building in Padiham.

WBro Alan Stewart JP performed the Selkirk Grace and then, accompanied by Piper, recited the Burns poem, Address to a Haggis.

Hale and hearty food was then eaten, including scotch broth 🍲, haggis neeps and tatties, roast beef 🥩 with potatoes and vegetables, trifle, 🍨cheese and biscuits and tea and coffee ☕️with mints. I can guarantee no one left hungry!

We also held a raffle, proceeds of which will be donated to the local community, and £220 💰was raised. 👏

The evening ended with the singing of Auld Lang Syne 🎶

Freemasonry isn’t just about men gathering for ceremonial rituals; family and friends are welcome to share in the social events too🎉.

If you have a question or wish to express an interest then please get in touch.

Welcome to the new Calder Masonic Lodge No 4564 page. 🤗

We are a local lodge of Freemasons who meet monthly to participate in one of the oldest and largest fraternal organisations, under the United Grand Lodge of England. The ritual meeting is followed by a social board where we have good food 🍱 and the occasional drink 🍷.

We have social meetings too where family and friends join us and help raise funds 💴 for local and national worthy causes. This year our Master donated funds to 352 (Burnley) air cadets, Derian House, Blood Bikes and Padiham food bank.
