Our Story

The VAUK Dispatch Riders are a Military organisations like the RBL Riders, Ride to The Wall but separate from them with our own identity, anyone who owns a motorbike may join including none veterans, if someone without a bike wishes to join they may as a dismounted member and if they know a member rider may be able to ride with them if agreeable.

Hannable Hayes CEO VAUK on his 1996 XV535 Virago Trike. The VAUK Dispatch Riders are a mobile branch of the Veterans Association UK and therefore come under its rules and Articles of Association and guidance from its Articles of Memorandum, The aim of the VAUK dispatch riders have a two fold remit, to help veterans and their families in need of help, this be something as simple as offering companionship and calling around for a brew and a chat, to organise social events like road runs /treasure hunts etc and to fund-raise for good causes like children’s hospitals or kids cancer cases etc and secondly an excuse to meet up with other bikers and do what bikers enjoy most, riding their motor bikes.

We need people to set up chapters in their areas, if interested call Alistair King on 07599 557779 if in Scotland or contact me Hannable Hayes on 07713329903. thanks.

Ride Safe, H.
