A shout out to the amazing volunteers who made last week possible.
From that organising the week Po SP and Po HJ.
Facilitating our trip aboard HMS Astute, Lt cdr Molyneux.
All our drivers for getting us there and back safely, and all they other role the volunteers covered.
Without all this support and time given up by our volunteers from our unit and the district. Fantastic opportunities like this for the cadets would not be possible. BZ to all and thank you.

So back to the real world for our Cadets and volunteers today.
After a fantastic and rewarding week at HMS Raleigh last week.
So many new experiences and new friends formed.
As well as individual journeys for the cadets overcoming fear and challenges the activities possed from fire fighting and damage control to visiting the alien world of a submarine aboard HMS Astute.
Thank you to everyone who made this possible.

An early start after a full first day with Scran (breakfast) at 07:00. Yesterday started with gusto as the cadets took on the legendary HMS RALEIGH assault course, demonstrating teamwork and resilience getting themselves and each other around the course.
In the afternoon the cadets got to tour phase one accommodation and meet recruits who had just completed their 10 week phase one training to find out what life is like in Royal Naval training.
Stand by for further reports from HMS Raleigh.

*** THANK YOU ***

A huge thank you to everyone who helped us raise enough money for our new roof, we are delighted to share that the work is now complete!

With the help of a grant from Gosling Foundation , donations through our JustGiving page, Asda bag packs and support from our local community, and Padiham Rotary Club.
We’ve been able to make the building safer, warmer and more secure for our cadets and volunteers.

A special thank you as well to Adam and team at Adam Evens building maintenance for their hard work and Layla and team at Accrington plastics for the materials.

We’re so grateful for all the support - every donation, share and conversation helped make this happen.

From all at TS Lookout once again thank you 😊

Next on the list… replacement windows! We’ll keep sharing updates as we continue improving the unit for our young people.
