We offer a collection service for larger donations (over 5 bin bags) Please ring the shop to arrange. We accept donations of clean, saleable items of clothing, footwear, handbags, bedding, curtains, housewares, bric-a-brac, toys, books, dvd's, cd's, jigsaws, jewellery, collectibles, and
small pieces of furniture. If you are a UK taxpayer, please consider signing up to our Gift Aid Scheme. For each £1 your donation raises, we can claim an extra 25p from HMRC. We are unable to accept donations of:-
Items that depict hunting scenes
Taxidermy
Real fur or Angora
Used Duvets or bed pillows
Medicines or medical equipment
Safety helmets or body armour
Child Car Seats
Prams/pushchairs that do not display relevant BS number
Soft Furnishings/Rugs that do not have Fire safety labels attached
Cot Mattresses
Toys that do not have CE mark (This includes knitted toys or handmade wooden toys)
SALE OF GOODS
All goods in this shop are donated items, and are sold second hand. However, all items for sale are of satisfactory quality and are fit for purpose. Please note that items sold will have signs of wear and tear, and some items may be slightly defective. (Details of which will be on the price ticket) - Customers are advised to fully check items before purchasing. All electrical items are PAT tested before they are sold. REFUNDS
Refunds are issued in accordance with your legal rights, on such items which are found to be defective as to quality, description or performance. Such items would need to be returned within 30 days of purchase, with a receipt as proof of purchase, with the original price label attached and in the condition in which they were sold. If you have purchased an item of clothing that does not fit, then to obtain a refund you will need to return the item within 7 days of purchase, with a receipt as proof of purchase, with the original price label attached and in the condition in which they were sold. Any item returned after this 7 day period, will only be eligible for an exchange. SALE items are NOT eligible for a refund or exchange
PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU ARE NOT ENTITLED TO A REFUND IF:
You do not have a receipt
The original price label is not attached
You have changed your mind
You have damaged the goods after purchase
You were aware of any damage before you purchased the goods
EXCHANGES
Exchanges can only be offered if items are returned within 30 days of purchase
We DO NOT offer credit notes, so exchanges must be made within this time. Items being returned for exchange must have the original price label
attached, be in the same condition in which they were sold and with a
receipt as proof of purchase. This does not affect your statutory rights. WE DO NOT ACCEPT RETURNS FROM OTHER RSPCA STORES
