Hi All. We have been contacted by a number of people enquiring about getting the PCSL up and running again.
If you didn’t already know we have had a year off but kept the committee together to monitor the situation with a view to starting up again when the time is right.
We are now asking if there is any enthusiasm for a return to Sunday morning football in Pendle?
We are planning to stay with the usual consistent 10.30 kick-off times and we are in negotiations with the Council regarding cost and availability of grass pitches in the Borough. Alternative venues can of course be used by agreement.
We are considering the possibility of a full-time division where teams have fixtures every week and a second part-time division with less teams playing less often, perhaps suitable for veteran teams?
We have also discussed the possibility of a pre-season knockout competition to take place as soon as the posts are replaced.
If anyone is interested in joining us for either the pre-season or the full/part time season we would be very grateful if you could at least express an interest at this time so we can decide if any of the above options could be feasible.
