📢 Important Notice 🛑

All Harry’s Hub groups are being paused for the time being.

As everyone who attends will know we do this all off our own backs while having our own children with needs and full time jobs. We have recently had a change in our home circumstances and we need to pause and reset.

We are so sorry to all the families we have been supporting we know this group is an escape for many of you and we haven’t taken this decision lightly at all.

We will still be here available for online support so please reach out if you need us!

😭 We are so sorry for the short notice but we have arrived and realised we’ve not brought the keys to our storage so we have no equipment to run the group 🤦‍♀️

We will hang on for a bit incase anyone has already set off as we don’t want you turning up to an empty building 😢

We are back to it tomorrow. Saturday 3rd Jan 12-2pm at Calico Homes Valley Street we will be kicking off 2026 with our first younger children’s group (age up to 11)

Tuck shop available and dinner will be pizza instead of sandwiches this time 😋

📢 Last event for us of the year

Saturday 20th 10-12.30 at Basically Cheer CIC we will be running a free parent support group. This is at the same time as cheerful kids which is an inclusive activity club. You don’t need to stay for the whole time you can just drop in for a brew and a chat 💬

Last 2 events for Amber in 2025 are both at Basically Cheer CIC on Cog Lane.

Today 9.15-10.30am we have Parental Support with Carers Link visiting us to share what they can do for your family.

Saturday 20th - 10am-12.30 free parental support running alongside Cheerful Kids (£2 entry)

📢 Teens group tomorrow, Sharon Woodward our amazing DM is back with us 🥳

⏰ We will be there from 5-8pm but D&D will not start until 6pm due to work commitments so no need to rush down for it.

📢 December Sessions

🗓️ Wednesday 3rd - We will be at the Lancashire SEND Roadshow at Turf Moor 9.30am-1pm this is a drop in session

🗓️ Saturday 6th - Kids session at Calico Homes Valley Street 12-2pm with Christmas Crafts

🗓️ Monday 8th - Teens session at Valley Street 5-8pm and our wonderful Sharon will be back running D&D

🗓️ Saturday 20th - 10am-12.30pm Parents Drop in at Basically Cheer CIC (Childcare available £2)

‼️ We will not have a Rochdale Gateway Leisure session unfortunately due to it falling between Christmas and New Year.

Last week Oliver Ryan MP came along to the hub to meet Lianne & our SEN team (Rachel - SEN Support & our partners Cathy from Lancashire FASD & Amber from Harry's Hub)

It was good to talk about the important work we are doing here & the support we are trying to provide for our community!

We will be at the Lancashire SEND Roadshow next Wednesday 3rd December 9.30am-1pm at Turf Moor

We are going to be sharing a stall with Basically Cheer CIC and Lancashire FASD and we are so happy to be helping families in Burnley with these amazing ladies. Strength in Numbers 💪

Tonight 5-8pm at Rochdale Gateway Leisure

Games consoles and Dungeons and Dragons for the teenagers.

Brew and a chat with parents who get it for the adults.
