Community Transport Sussex

Community Transport Sussex We provide community transport for the most vulnerable in the local community.

CT Sussex provides inclusive, sustainable, and community-focused transport services that enhance the quality of life for individuals and communities across Sussex, reducing social isolation and loneliness. CT Sussex is a local charity covering Crawley (CCT) Horsham (HDCT), Mid Sussex and the West Sussex coast from Portslade to Pagham (Dial-A-Ride Southern Services). We will transport older people

to doctorsโ€™ appointments, shopping in the town or even to go and see friends so they do not become isolated, as well as disabled people who struggle to access public transport or socially isolated communities where there is a lack of safe and adequate public transport. We also take school children with special educational needs to and from school, as well as helping other local community groups and charities get their members from A to B.

โ€œEVs arenโ€™t practical for long journeys.โ€

We hear that one a lot.

The reality? Most EV drivers quickly realise that charging fits naturally into journeys far more easily than expected, especially when ultra-rapid charging locations are positioned exactly where drivers need them most.

Heading to Gatwick Airport?
Commuting through Manor Royal?
Travelling for work?

Charging can happen while you grab a coffee, answer a few emails or stretch your legs before getting back on the road.

Modern EV driving is designed around convenience, not compromise.

At E-Veezy, weโ€™re helping make electric travel feel simpler, smoother and more accessible for everyday drivers.

Celebrating another amazing year of HECCC ๐ŸŽ‰

Weโ€™re so proud to share what weโ€™ve achieved together over the past year โ€” from thousands of miles travelled to hundreds of trips made possible, and over 2000 volunteer hours given to support our community ๐Ÿ’š

None of this would be possible without our incredible volunteers, members, and supporters. Thank you for being part of our journey and helping us make a real difference every day ๐Ÿš—

Hereโ€™s to another year of connection, support, and community!

The Phoenix Stroke Club in Horsham provides vital support, friendship and activities for stroke survivors โ€” but they urgently need more volunteer drivers to help members get to and from their sessions.
For many members, transport is the difference between being able to attend, socialise, enjoy lunch, take part in activities and receive support โ€” or being left isolated at home.
Could you spare some time to help?
By becoming a volunteer driver, youโ€™ll be helping local stroke survivors stay connected, independent and part of a welcoming community.
The club is based at Forest School, Comptons Lane, Horsham, and anyone interested in volunteering as a driver can contact The Phoenix Stroke Club on 01403 268130 or visit: phoenixstrokeclub.org.uk
