3rd Burgess Hill Brownies made the most of their local chippy and park facilities last week…so lovely to see the girls have fun with their friends and enjoy the gorgeous weather (before the heatwave hit!)

Eleven 2nd Rainbows had a great day out as part of LaSER's Castle & Crowns event. They visited the Royal Pavilion in Brighton. They especially enjoyed the Dragon Trail, and they met the Region Chief Commissioner & got another badge!
After trying to eat lunch in the Pavilion grounds but encountering a few incidents with naughty seagulls, they went to the Jubilee library to finish their food, then complete various activities.
A very happy but tired group of little girls arrived home at 3:15 & were excited to receive their event badge.

7th and 11th Brownies Castles and Crowns camp included a visit to the Royal Pavilion hunting Dragons! They also met our Girlguiding London and South East Region Commissioner, Amanda Teasel who gave them all one of her badges They also explored The Lanes and then had lunch on the beach before a bus ride home, with some falling asleep on the way!

Castles and Crowns...and Dragons🐲

Several of our units have been taking part in the Girlguiding London & South East England region 's Castles and Crowns event this weekend by visiting our local palace, the Royal Pavilion. 1st Burgess Hill Rainbows particularly enjoyed hunting for dragons, meeting Amanda our region chief commissioner, and decorating our own very regal crowns on the train down.

The 7th Brownies enjoyed a visit to Burgess Hill fire station. They asked some great questions and playing with the hoses was a perfect way to cool off on a warm evening!

Lots of craft activities today at the 11th, all for Fathers Day. I hope they all loved their cards and edible bonfires, a lot of concentration and love went into making them.
