💙 Have you been part of life at Ferriers Barn? We’d love to hear from you!

For over 50 years, we’ve supported adults with disabilities to make friends, learn new skills and enjoy being part of their community. We also provide valuable respite for families and carers, and bring people together through volunteering, student placements, activities and community events.

Whether you’re a member, family member, carer, volunteer or visitor, your review helps others learn about the Barn and the difference we make.

🌿 A huge thank you! 🌿

We are so grateful to Colchester Catalyst and The Charles French Charitable Trust for their generous grants towards renovating our garden space at Ferriers Barn.

We are very lucky to have the most beautiful garden and surrounding countryside, and our members really value being able to spend time outdoors. However, some areas of our garden are now no longer fit for purpose and are in need of some much-needed TLC.

Thanks to these grants, we can now start the first stage of our garden renovation project! 💚

We still have more fundraising to do to complete everything we would like to achieve, but this funding gives us a fantastic start.

Our aim is to create a safe, accessible and welcoming outdoor space that all our members can enjoy – whether that's taking part in activities, gardening, socialising or simply sitting outside and enjoying the fresh air.

Thank you for helping us make it happen! 🌻🌿

A special thank you to Jon from the Masonic Fishing Charity for organising the day, your guys were absolutely fantastic and made sure everyone had a brilliant time.

And a big thank you to Leeders Butchers for the wonderful BBQ – it was delicious! 🌭🍔

A great day by the lake and everyone went home with big smiles and certificates! 🏆🎣

Thank you to everyone who helped make the day so special for Ferriers Barn. 💙
