For our August meeting we welcomed Ian Ethell back to the club to give us a demonstration of multi axis turning.

For this evenings demo Ian showed us how to turn a multi axis bud vase and followed it up with a multi axis chair or stool leg that had a traditional curve.

As expected it was a great demonstration and hopefully it will inspire members to have a go at multi axis turning.

Hi all! ☺️

Happy to announce the new website is fully up-and-running!

The switch over from Shopify to Wix happened over the weekend and so far (fingers crossed 🤞🏻) it’s all working swimmingly!

I still have to add a few last bits to the site, including making a clearance section where all the discontinued items will be put in one place, but other than that it’s good to go!

I’m also going to add a loyalty program to the site to give back to all my lovely customers, so make sure to create a new account on the new site so you can benefit from this from your next order and all those to come 🎨🫟

Here are a few more photographs from Sunday and our day at the Trimpley Vintage Rally and Auction.

We had a fantastic day promoting woodturning to the public, and really enjoyed our first visit to the event which was organised by Bridgnorth VMC. The weather was perfect, there was plenty of things to see and do, and the guys enjoyed themselves making sawdust.

Looking forward to next years event already.

Our first visit to The Bridgnorth VMC rally and auction at Trimpley, and what a great event it was.

Huge congratulations to the organisers and thank you for letting us be part of the day.

There is going to be plenty going on and Burcot Woodturners will be there giving demonstrations of woodturning. We will have our craft shop set up so that you can purchase items that have been turned by our members.
