Week 14 and Bobetta is ready to deal with any new Freman College students who might be lost!
Hopefully she will be more welcoming on Saturday for our little Open Day, where you are invited to come and have a look at the refurbishment so far.

We are hiring full time, part time and casual lifeguards with valid NPLQ (or equivalent) .
Shifts include early morning, daytime, evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
Casual hours start from £10.85 per hour. Full time salaries £21,465 - £27,560 depending on experience and responsibilities.

What is it Wednesday?
The most creative answer for last weeks 'what is it' goes to Lesley Harriss Lyon, we definitely need to get it working again to ensure the correct balance of H20 to G&T's!
However Pat Ricia described the purpose of the Poddymeter better than I could, essentially monitoring the flow of pool water in the filtration system. And Darren Foreman recalls it correctly from his time working at the pool!

Good luck to all the young people starting back at school today and tomorrow.
Before the summer holidays Freman College, Edwinstree Middle School, Layston First School, Millfield First & Nursery School, Roger de Clare C. of E. First School and Nursery, and Hormead First School held a non uniform day and raised an impressive £2222.71.
Thank you so much, this money has purchased new lifeguard equipment.

Whilst most of H20 Servicing limited work in the plant room will never be seen by the public, you will be able to inspect the new inlet grilles (meeting the regulation 8mm vs old 12mm openings) and step treads when the pool opens!

Many thanks to Jon Brears and Mark Addison for removing the very old shower mixers and filling the holes on Sunday. Mark has then returned to complete the tiling. The shower walls are now ready for new showers to be fitted. He will be back again to help tidy up a few more tiles in the changing rooms and lobbies. We are so grateful for skilled tradespeople donating their time and expertise.
