Waveney Strings Waveney Strings is a community music group for string players in East Anglia. Based in Bungay, we rehearse on Sunday’s 2-4pm New members are always welcome.

Waveney Strings is a friendly and non-selective group of like-minded string players. We meet to rehearse in Bungay every two weeks (in term time) on a Sunday afternoon. We enjoy performing a wide range of repertoire from a variety of different musical genres.

Can’t believe our concert is only two weeks today!
We’re particularly looking forward to performing two new compositions by local teacher and musician, Philip Harrold.
A Song For Peace and Just For You, both originally for Brass Band, have been re-scored, by Philip, for Full Orchestra. A Song For Peace will be sung by Invidia Voices - Rock and Soul Choir.
