August was a bit of a roller coaster at the shop, quiet on some days and chaos on others! But refilling 1780 containers isn't too shabby, so thanks for sticking with us through the season.

Have you seen our new library? It's only small so far but we are planning to build a good collection of publications about zero-waste living, the natural world, and the power we all have as individuals to make a difference. Please come and have a browse and borrow what you would like to read.

Donations of relevant publications also very welcome!

A new addition to our personal care range: potassium alum crystal deodorant sticks from .

Potassium crystal has been used for centuries as a deodorant. It slows the production of bacteria, preventing odour while still allowing the skin to breathe and perspire naturally. Unscented and hypoallergenic, these are ideal for sensitive skin.

No aluminium chlorohydrate

At £14 we understand they're not cheap, BUT they should last up to a year, which is a lot longer than a standard deodorant!

The brilliant kitchen cleaner refill drops from OceanSaver are finally BACK IN STOCK!!!

Simply put the capsule into a reusable spray bottle, top up with water, shake vigorously until the capsule has dissolved (bonus arm workout), and you're ready to go.

We ordered lots so you can restock too. May your kitchen grease be gone again!

Thanks to everyone who has shopped during our extended hours on Thursdays for the past few months. Tomorrow, Thursday 27th, will be our last late night for the season: open from 10am until 6pm.

We know it can be difficult for some customers to shop during our normal hours so don't forget, once this late-night trial is over you can always drop off a list and your containers for us to fill for you. Then just pop back and collect at your convenience!

After a very busy week and lots of help from some wonderful volunteers, we are finally open!

Please be kind and patient as we are all new to the till system and training on the job. This is so the refill store would resume selling as soon as possible for all it's lovely customers. 💚

Remember you will find us at 17 Church Street.
