Probably the most common containers that get refilled here are Ecover laundry and washing-up bottles. People have bought Ecover because they want to use products that are kinder to the environment than some other brands, which is great. But that's still new plastic each time another one is taken off the supermarket shelf, and money to a large corporation (Ecover is owned by SC Johnson, alongside other cleaning brands like Duck, Mr Muscle and Pledge).
We can't deny though, they're really good bottles: sturdy plastic, nice wide necks, screw-top lids - perfect for refilling! We've done a little price comparison and the good news is that if you refill your old bottles with our Detergent Refill products, you'll save both plastic and money and support a small, closed-loop family company with ethical practices running through the whole business to boot.
