Bude Ramble for Children In Need

Thank you to everyone who took part in the Bude Ramble yesterday, against all odds and the beautiful cornish winter weather it was a great walk.

We will be keeping the yellow collection buckets inside The Lock Gates Cafe until next Sunday for any further donations.

Oh it's looking like a very wet start tomorrow but the Met Office says the rain eases off from 11am so fingers crossed!

We hope to see you all tomorrow morning, meeting from 10.30 outside of The Lock Gates Cafe and heading off at 11am.

We've been busy putting up the signs for each of the routes but please do print off the maps or save them to your phones. Please find some pics below of the signs, the 6 mile route turns left at the Weir towards Widemouth. I forgot that sign so have pointed the way 🤣 its been a pretty busy last 2 weeks.

Good afternoon Bude Ramblers!
Please find below the 4 routes for the Ramble on Saturday 5th November. We are sticking to the same routes as last year to keep this easier for all ages and abilities and to make sure no one gets lost.

If you are planning an participating in the walks this year can you please send us a direct message with the amount of adults and children so we can keep an eye on the numbers attending.
We’ve received a few messages for entries which is great but it would be great to build on this so do let us know!

Evening Ramblers!

We have now set up the Just Giving page for this years Bude Ramble for Children in Need 2022. As previously mentioned it would be greatly appreciated for any donations to participate in this years event raising much needed funds for Children In Need. Please share this page and link with your friends and family, lets try to make this year's Ramble bigger than before.

Good evening Ramblers!

We are excited to announce this years Bude Ramble for Children In Need will indeed take place on Saturday 5th November meeting at the Lock Gates Cafe for 10.30am. Everyone will leave as a group heading off at 11am. To cater for all ages and abilities we have decided to use the same 4 routes as we did in 2021.

At each route turning point around the canal there will be a marker to show 1mile, 1.75mile, 3.5mile and then the 6mile ramble. If you aim to enter the ramble this year please do send us a DM with a number of adults & children participating so we can keep an eye on numbers and the safety aspects. A JustGiving page will be set up this week and the link will be sent out on this page.

Bude Ramble for Children in Need 2022!

So, who's up for this again this year?

We are looking to confirm the date this weekend but looks like it will be Saturday 5th November leaving at 10.30am.

THANK YOU to everyone who joined us on the first Bude Ramble on Saturday, we had a great turnout of 74 people and many doggies which was amazing for its first year.

So far we have counted up £612.66 and have some more collection pots building over the next week so well done to everyone, thank you.

Cassie and i have decided we would like to make this an annual event in Bude and help local children's charities as well as the BBC's Children in Need.

There will be lots of pictures to follow so do keep your eyes peeled.

Looks like the sun is coming out on Saturday for our Pudsey fundraising Bude Ramble 2021
