A PROUD NIGHT FOR BUCKLEY BOXING CLUB 🏆

Tonight we had the absolute honour of receiving the Buckley Town Council Community Award.

The award recognises our outstanding contribution and dedication to promoting sport, inclusion and community spirit in Buckley.
For a club that has been running for over 30 years, this means an incredible amount to us.

Over those 30+ years, the club has had an impact on so many lives. Generations of young people and adults have walked through our doors, learning to box, getting fitter, building confidence, making lifelong friendships and, for some, finding a place where they felt they belonged.

For us, boxing has always been about far more than what happens inside the ring.
It's about giving people somewhere to go, something to work towards and a team around them. It's about supporting people through good times and difficult times, helping young people grow in confidence and giving our community a place they can be proud of.

To have that contribution recognised by Buckley Town Council is incredibly special.

A huge thank you to everyone who has played a part in the club over the past 30+ years, past and present coaches, volunteers, boxers, parents, families and supporters.

Here's to the next chapter and to the many more lives we hope to positively impact through boxing 🥊

Buckley Boxing Club, more than just a boxing club❤️🏆

📣 NEW BOXERCISE CLASS TRIAL 🥊

From Monday 12th October, I’ll be trialling an extra Boxercise class!
With classes being so busy and waitlists getting longer, I’m adding:
🥊 Boxercise — 8:10–9:10pm
📅 Every Monday
➡️ Straight after the existing 7:00–8:00pm class.

The aim is to give more people the opportunity to get booked in rather than sitting on the waitlist.

This class will initially be a trial, and if there’s enough interest, I’ll keep it on the timetable permanently ❤️

⚽ FOOTBALL TEAMS WELCOME!
This class is also open to football teams looking to improve their players’ fitness, conditioning and work rate.
Players must be 13 years or older.
So if you’re involved with a football team and think this could be something your squad would benefit from, get in touch! 💪🏼

2026–27 Membership Update
We’ve got a few exciting updates to membership for the new season.

Non-carded boxers who attend the gym for fitness only will now be registered as Participant Members.

The registration fee for the 2026–27 season is £10. This ensures you are officially recorded as a club member and, as part of your membership, you will receive a Sting T-shirt and have access to WABA member benefits.

Membership Rewards 🎁
All paid membership levels now have access to WABA Membership Rewards portal through Sport:80.
This gives you access to discounts across a huge range of brands and everyday products.

More details on how to access the Membership Rewards portal will be shared with members 🥊💪

FIRST AID TRAINING COMPLETE! 🩹❤️

Today, 11 of our team/members completed First Aid training right here at the gym, covering both Paediatric First Aid and First Aid in the Workplace.

Keeping our members safe is always a priority, and having more trained first aiders within our gym and boxing club means we're even better prepared should an emergency ever happen.

It's another investment into our community and something I'm really proud of ❤️

A huge thank you to everyone who gave up their time today and got involved 👏
