Welsh Border Community Transport

Welsh Border Community Transport The role of Welsh Border Community Transport is to provide community transport facilities in the County of Flintshire

We operate specialist vehicles for service users who have need of such facilities because of the nature of their age, infirmity and or disability and or living in isolated areas where there are no adequate public transport facilities. We offer shopper trips to groups of local residents on a regular basis who would otherwise find this basic need difficult or impossible. We facilitate many trips to

medical appointments including the general hospitals in Wrexham, Chester, Glan Clwyd and Merseyside as well as Doctors, dentist and the local cottage hospitals (these are our priority appointments). Our overarching aim is to provide an outstanding and valued service based on need and desire of our registered service users. Additionally, we offer wellbeing outings for nursing home residents and or their families and those in sheltered accommodation, which can cover a wide variety of services from simply going to a local pub as part of a lunch club or leisure centres for health and fitness classes to trips further afield to garden centres, out of town shopping centres and the like.
