Shining a spotlight on our wonderful volunteers this week 🌟

We can't wait to get together and thank you all at the upcoming volunteer celebration.

Volunteer Spotlight 🌟

It's Volunteer Week, and we're shining a light on our wonderful volunteers and the amazing work they do in our community. This is Rob, who volunteers at the Community Garden in Refurbs Buckley.

"I like the variety of things we do at the cafe. I have a long history with the cafe and the gardening club there in general, as such I like helping the people there out. I've been going for years, having started as a way to push my comfort zone it's more a way to keep me socially active when I don't have anything else going on in a week.

It's a cosy familiar place for me so it's relaxing. I'm grateful on the days I'm worn out that everyone understands and gives me a break instead of making me do this and that.

I keep coming back due to the relaxed nature of the experience and the relaxed people there."
