📢 Flood Action for Buckingham – Multi-Agency Flood Meeting

Our next Multi-Agency Flood Meeting will take place on Thursday 16th July at 3:30pm.

This meeting brings together key organisations and stakeholders to discuss ongoing flood risk issues, current projects, and actions being taken to help protect our community.

We’ll share further details as soon as the venue has been confirmed.

With the sunny weather and the end of half term here, we know it’s tempting to play in the river but we do urge that you refrain as our river often shows signs of sewage.
We are forever working with agencies to get our river in a cleaner state.

🌿 A Friendly Reminder to Riparian Owners 🌿

When clearing reeds and vegetation from waterways, please make sure all cuttings are disposed of responsibly and not left on the riverbanks.

🚫 Leaving reeds on the banks can:
• Cause blockages
• Increase flood risk
• Harm the local environment
• Be classed as fly tipping

Thank you for helping to keep our waterways clear, safe, and flowing freely for everyone. 💧
