Jedidiah Buckingham Distribution of free food to those who need it most in the local community We are a food charity. This ensures more people have access to good food.

We collect unsold fresh food from local supermarkets and distribute it from our local premises, free of charge, to those who need/want it. Dignity is important to us - we do not operate a screening process. You may be on a low income, have hit a temporary low point, or maybe you simply care about the environment and hate to see waste. Please don’t park in front of our pantry in the evenings. Our volunteers
- give up their time,
- leave their homes in the dark,
- wait outside supermarkets in the cold,
- load up the unsold surplus food in heavy crates,
- drive it all back to the pantry,
- unload the heavy crates of food
… and then they can’t get in.

The one thing you can do to make their lives easier is NOT PARK blocking the doorway. Please.

If you know whose black/navy blue Range Rover this might be, please send them a discreet note. We don’t want to embarrass anyone but please make them aware the free/convenient parking they think they have found actually significantly inconveniences the pantry volunteers.
