Have you heard about our themed Parent Support Groups?

Running twice a month, they focus on one key topic each session like EHCP's, PDA, school anxiety, toileting troubles, restrictive eating, parent burnout and more.

The sessions bring together parents on a similar journey and are a compassionate online space to connect with families who truly understand, where we can support and learn from one another.

Our next session will be on the theme of School Distress & EBSA, and will take place on Wednesday 3rd June at 12pm.

This term, we have been learning about different types of weather and thinking about what we need to wear to stay warm, dry, and comfortable when we play outside.

The children have particularly enjoyed joining in with familiar stories like 'We’re Going on a Bear Hunt' and 'The Very Busy Spider', using repetition, actions, and sounds to help bring the stories to life.

In the garden, we have been very busy planting pumpkins, sunflowers, French beans, and courgette seeds. There was lots of excitement when we noticed the first little shoots starting to grow, and we'll be planting them out in the second half of term, so we'll share some updates on their progress in June and July.

It's half term and our nursery has now closed for a well-earned break! Our online Parent's Portal is still here for whenever you need it though, check it out at https://portal.autismearlysupport.org.uk/

We've planted a time capsule!

For our 25th anniversary celebrations, our staff, families and supporters have shared messages from the heart, capturing memories, hopes, and dreams all carefully sealed inside a time capsule to preserve this moment in our history.
The capsule now rests alongside our beautiful new cherry tree, where it will stay safe for future generations to discover.

We are incredibly proud of Belinda, her sister Sarah, and her team for taking on the 100km Jurassic Coast Path Ultra Challenge this weekend. Tackling some of the toughest terrain, they showed true determination as they powered through steep climbs, dramatic descents, and the elements.

By 2am on Saturday night, the team had reached an extraordinary 58km. While facing a few injuries along the way, Belinda and Sarah made the sensible decision to stop there, having already accomplished so much to be proud of.

Here's a little message from Belinda and Sarah:

"So not the medals we were after but an amazing achievement considering the route. The hills on the 1st half are brutal and just never end, plus the wind and rain did not make it any easier.

"We got to the 58km rest stop at around 2am which was 2 hours quicker than last year but we were feeling sick and aching, so decided to rest in the medical tent till 5am then decide our fate. Sarah hadn't eaten since about 2pm on the Saturday, so just had nothing left to give and still felt too sick to eat, and Belinda's body felt like it had been hit by 100 trucks. We made the hard decision to finish there and head home.

"Thank you so much to everyone who has donated, it really means a lot to Belinda and the staff at Circle Centre and even more so to the amazing kids that benefit from that hard work and dedication from the staff. That is only possible from your kind donations."

We think Belinda, Sarah and her team are superstars 🤩
