The people's emergency briefing film has given us hope that solutions to the climate crisis do exist. Across the country, local climate action is making a difference. Join us on Tuesday 1st September to help develop the next steps for Buckingham.
Members are already enthusiastically coming up with ideas around the following themes:

🚴🏼Increasing cycling and walking and reducing car use
🪴Encouraging rewilding and gardening for wildlife and biodiversity
🌞Renewable energy
♻️Food security and reducing food waste

She faces the first big climate test for Andy Burnham's new government -- whether or not to approve new North Sea oil & gas developments in the wake of the UK's third heatwave in as many months. Fahnbulleh is tasked with issuing the critical, looming decision on whether to grant final regulatory approval to the Rosebank and Jackdaw North Sea developments. Let's welcome her previous strong commitments on climate justice and make sure she knows that any new oil & gas is completely incompatible with a liveable climate.
