Moray Reach Out has just had one of its busiest and most successful fundraising weekends ever! π₯³
Thanks to the incredible support of our community, businesses, volunteers, trainees, staff, Board Members and everyone who got involved in some way, we have raised an amazing Β£8,429 over the weekend! π
That brings our 2026 fundraising total to approximately Β£14,000+, meaning we are now over halfway towards our Β£25,000 goal! π
Whether you donated, bought or sold raffle tickets, sponsored an event, advertised for us, volunteered your time, took part, or simply came along to show your support! Every single contribution makes a difference. β€οΈ

We would like to give a very special thank you to our Chair & Treasurer, Alan McDonald, his lovely wife Marie, and their friend Jake Robertson, without whom our Buckpool Golf Club Texas Scramble Day simply would not have happened and also to Shona Radojkovic and everyone who helped organise and bring the event together.
And of course, a massive thank you to all our Board Members, staff, volunteers and trainees who helped throughout the day. From the early birds arriving at 6.20am and still standing at the end of the day π - Fiona McKenzie, Shona Radojkovic, Alan, Marie, Sheila and Megan - to Gemma Morrison and James Evers, who joined us shortly after and stayed loyal to the very end! Thank you also to Alison Mair, Lynda Scott, William Mair, Susan Blake, Morag Stewart, Katie Ramsay, Kearin Reid, Kevin Davidson and Holly Baxter, as well as Lara Sutherland for helping with the draw.

It was also a fantastic day at Portsoy Wool Festival, where we raised a cracking Β£600 this year, and all while it was happening on the same day as our Texas Scramble! π
