We've reshuffled our schedule slightly, which means Anna will be at our Yarns & Crafts shop in Buckie this morning, demonstrating our embroidery machine, answering any questions you may have, and taking orders until 12.30pm.

Whether you're looking for personalised workwear, gifts, branded clothing, or simply want to see the embroidery process in action, we'd love for you to pop in and say hello! 👋

This afternoon, we'll be heading out and about in Buckie, meeting with local businesses and chatting about how Moray Reach Out Embroidery can support their embroidery and branding needs.

To mark Volunteers' Week Moray Pathways organised a Volunteer Marketplace. The event allowed members of the public to find out about different volunteering opportunities. It was great to have the opportunity to chat with representatives from some of the volunteer groups with links to and beyond. From heritage railways to event first aid; from supporting people facing the challenges of energy costs to preserving and celebrating historic aircraft; and, from helping young people facing challenges to working with adults to develop new skills, the contributions of volunteers cover so much of life. Anyone looking to volunteer can find a place where they can volunteer their skills and make a difference to our communities.

We're incredibly grateful to be one of the nominated charities benefiting from the opening of Whitehills House Garden in Newton Stewart this season. 💛

After an 11-year pause, this beautiful garden is once again opening its gates to visitors, with 30% of admission proceeds being donated to Moray Reach Out.

If you're in the area and enjoy stunning gardens, woodland walks, colourful blooms, and peaceful surroundings, this is well worth a visit. 🌳🌺🌿

A huge thank you to the garden owners and Scotland's Garden Scheme for choosing to support our work. Every visit helps make a difference to the people we support across Moray.

✴️We are delighted to welcome back WHITEHILLS HOUSE, Minnigaff, Newton Stewart as an open garden after an 11 year pause.

📒Open now By Arrangement until 30th September with an open garden day on Saturday 27 June, 10am - 5pm.

🌳Set within over nine acres of beautifully landscaped grounds, Whitehills offers an enchanting retreat.
🌿The beautiful and tranquil gardens blend mature woodland, sweeping lawns, and a rich variety of flowering shrubs and specimen trees.
🌺A network of winding paths explore distinct garden spaces, from shaded woodland walks to open, sunlit areas ideal for rest and reflection.

📍 DG8 6SC From Newton Stewart turn right over Cree Bridge then first left after 50m. Follow the road through Minnigaff for ½ mile. Turn left at the RSPB sign, continue past Minnigaff Church on the right then continue 300m on the main road. Whitehills is first left at the black wrought iron gates.

Our woodwork team has been busy creating beautiful handcrafted planters and picnic tables - perfect for gardens, outdoor spaces, and making the most of this lovely weather. Our picnic tables are available in sizes for both adults and children, making them ideal for family spaces too 🪵✨

✨ Update from Moray Reach Out Embroidery ✨

Following on from our exciting news about expanding to Buckie, we’re pleased to share a bit more detail about what’s coming this June 👀

Our Embroidery Team Lead, Anna, will be based in Buckie on Mondays throughout June:

- Mornings (first 2 Mondays) - we will be out and about in the community, promoting our service and chatting with local people and organisations
- Mornings (last 3 Mondays) - dedicated appointment time for businesses and companies to discuss their embroidery needs (flexible and can be adjusted as required)
- Afternoons (1pm–4pm each Monday) - live embroidery machine demonstrations, plus time for Anna to complete local Buckie orders.

We’re really looking forward to building connections in Buckie and bringing our service closer to you 💛
