Community Playgroups are hiring we are looking to employee a practitioner on a 28 hour contract term time to work across all 6 of our settings on the needs of the business. Closing date 27th January.
Required: minimum childcare qualification SVQ3/HNC level or equivalent make consider working towards this level.
Desired: driving licence or are able to show you can travel around West Lothian to all 6 settings.

Community Playgroups has spaces available for children age 2- 5 years. If your child attends nursery they can still attend playgroup on the days they don’t attend nursery. Our playgroups are open Mon to Friday 915 to 1130 there is no minimum session. The cost per session is £9 for morning session. Every session we offer a healthy snack along with milk and water available throughout the session. We are looking for a motivated and passionate, qualified Early years practitioner to join our team at Community Playgroups West Calder.
This is a wonderful opportunity to build on your experience.
You should have relevant experience/qualifications.
You should be eligible to register with SSSC and agree to appropriate PVG checks.
We are in partnership with West Lothian Council, members of early years Scotland, registered with Care inspectorate and have been established in West Calder for a number of years.

Closing date is Friday 17th June with interviews the following week. Start date is after the summer holidays TBC.
Rate of pay - £9.90 per hour.
Hours - 16 hours - term time.
With a view to increase hours in the future.

Community Playgroups Uphall currently has spaces for children looking to start after the summer holidays. Children can attend from age 2 onwards and the sessions available are Monday to Friday 9:15 am to 11:30am. The session costs are £9 for a morning session which includes snack or £20 for a full day session which includes snack and lunch. We also have spaces for funded 2’s through West Lothian Council if you earn a certain salary or in receipt of certain benefits please apply on this link Nursery places for 2 year olds - West Lothian Council and please ensure you select the playgroup as your choice of setting for your child to attend.
