Looking forward to see these plants blooming in the summer on Broughty Ferry station . Thanks to NHS Strathmartine centre for gifting the plants for the barrel train and to Donald and Stuart for planting them out and looking after them as they grow.

🌟 Broughty Castle Museum Reopens Wednesday 1 April! 🌟

We’re excited to welcome residents and visitors back as Broughty Castle Museum opens for the 2026 summer season on Wednesday 1 April.

The museum is a must‑see attraction at the heart of the Ferry, offering a changing programme of events, activities and displays for all ages. It holds a special place in the community, loved by both locals and visitors.

The museum is FREE to visit, and while admission is free, we’re always grateful for donations that help support our work.

Whether you live locally or are discovering it for the first time, come explore the stories, views and experiences that make the castle such a unique part of the area.

Kids Operating Room’s Global centre in Dundee is doing a fantastic job providing purpose build theatres and equipment for children in locations where they are desperately needed . We learnt that 130 had already been set up in 36 different countries, with more being packed up and ready to be sent out in the coming months. The clinical rooms have beautiful artwork creating a calm and child friendly space. Technical expertise and staff support is on hand following installation. Our thanks to Lynn and David for the tour around the warehouse and for sharing their knowledge of the organisation, its development and how it manages to provide such an excellent, well needed resource.

The Broughty Rotary heat of our annual Primary School Quiz took place last night at Forthill PS. In a very close contest, which required a tiebreak round and sudden-death playoff to decide the first three places, the Eastern B team emerged triumphant! It was supported by an enthusiastic and vociferous audience of family, friends and teachers who all helped to make it a fun night.
Thanks to everyone who took part and supported this great event.
