Love these windows instead of the more common full glass.
It allows me to perfectly match the height of the mattress with a raised bed for that perfect airflow and access to the slide.

Its been a while since we uploaded content but lots on the way soon.
With the good weather, it's been a task just filming and helping Nicky with her van build.

All big bits in and fitting a treat.
Rains stopped play but there's shopping to be done.
Plumbing, door fronts to the toilet unit then cupboard doors and nothing left other than curtains and coverings...
We can breathe a little now and perhaps have some time away.

With rain on the way, this has been the last long day to "get to a point"...
Garage bulkhead is now white made from removable sections of T&G and that awkward bit over the door carpeted and finished off with courtesy lights and a switch for the awning light on matching ceiling T&G.
We're now ready for the bed and after the rains we can quickly finish the habitat.

We have a bed base... It'll be off to IKEA for a bed before the week is out.
Electrics done for the bedside lights with built in usb&cs.
Removable garage bulkhead was built today but can't decide on white or "stone rosie". Upper bulkhead fitted for effect but will need to come off again.

Off came that kitchen back board "again" which was easier to tile off than on the wall. A bit of bling went on as well in the form of a brass gallery rail.
Bulkhead to bed is also finished making good the end of the upper bed shelf all with Arreaus approval.
Not sure Nicky realises what to do with the sink unit!

The T&G backing was given a coat of white before the facia was treated again to several coats of French Chic, then sanded to distress, then make a cheesecake, then several coats of varnish before being fixed into place.
Then all excitement as the tap arrived which has doubled the value of fitting the van out!!!!

Making the small overhead shelf was the first task, backing the awkward profile of the van was the second.
Wood battens were profiled to fit up to the shelf mounting blocks and screwed and bonded to the vans frame. T&G could then be fastens to the blocks and battens once 75mm of Sheepwool insulation was installed and held back by the garden mesh. Up then went the unit so Nicky could be pleased with herself. Down it all comes tomorrow to be painted.
