LOST - A local resident lost his wedding ring yesterday probably somewhere between Broughshane Pharmacy and McNeill’s Post Office and Supermarket. If you have it or know of its whereabouts, please contact us ASAP. The owner is obviously very keen to get it back.

A local resident has reported to us that a black and white cat has sadly deceased at the end of Tullymore Road and has been carefully placed on the verge by the wall. Found at 6am this morning.

We are delighted to announce that Aughafatten Coronation Accordion Band will be performing at this year’s Belfast International Tattoo 🎶

Formed in 1952 in the Braid Valley near Broughshane, the band has a proud history of musical excellence and community spirit. As they look ahead to celebrating their 75th anniversary in 2027, this performance marks a special milestone in their journey.

Known for their high-quality performances and recent success at the Northern Ireland Accordion Open Championships, Aughafatten Coronation Accordion Band continues to represent generations of dedication and passion for music. From local parades to major events, they remain a cornerstone of their community.

🌟 GB Registration & Uniform Evening 🌟

We’re getting ready for another exciting year at 2nd Broughshane Girls’ Brigade!

We’d love to invite all parents to bring their girls and drop in to our Registration & Uniform Evening on Tuesday 1st September, between 6:15–7:45pm at 2nd Broughshane Church Hall.

It’s a chance to register your girl for the year ahead and order any uniform she needs.

Whether your girl is a returning member or completely new to our GB, we’d be delighted to see you! 🥰 All girls age 3+ are welcome!

GB officially begins on Tuesday 8th September, and we’re looking forward to another year filled with fun, friendship, faith and fellowship together! ✨

If you have any old or pre-loved GB uniform that is no longer needed, we’d really appreciate you bringing it along on the Registration & Uniform Evening. It could be a great help to another girl in our GB! 💙
