Brough Fitmums and Friends A friendly, supportive running and fitness walking group for men & women (aged 16+) of all abilities.

Fitmums & Friends is a registered charity in England and Wales No. 1173919 Brough Fitmums & Friends is part of an amazing network of clubs which was started quite unintentionally in 2009 by a mum in an East Yorkshire village. She was missing the chance to make friends in the playground at her son's school due to working full time and so decided to see if any of the parents fancied a run. Five mums

turned up that first night and it proved to be the start of a quite incredible journey. Fitmums & Friends has now spread to South & North Yorkshire too thanks to the work of an amazing team of volunteers passionate to help others become more active and feel more connected.

Another lovely evening with Brough Fitmums & Friends tonight, with four of us tackling the 5-mile route (which somehow ended up being slightly longer!). Thankfully, we were so busy chatting that none of us even noticed the extra distance!

The conversation covered everything from castle parkruns and PBs to upcoming holidays, with plenty of laughs along the way. After a challenging day at work for some of us, it was the perfect way to de-stress and reset.

Thank you for the wonderful company as always. Same time next week!
