Our Mission is to provide a welcoming hub for worship, learning, and community wellbeing, while also nurturing strong relationships within the Muslim community and with the wider public. **IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT **

As-salaamu-alaikum,

Alhamdolillah, the moon has been sighted this evening, therefore tomorrow will be the 1st of *Dhul Hijjah*, In shā’Allāh.

Please remember that the first 10 days of Dhul Hijjah are among the *most blessed days of the year*.

Allah ﷻ highlights their importance in the Holy Qur’an, and the Holy Prophet ﷺ taught us that righteous deeds performed during these days are *more beloved to Allah than at any other time*.

Many people choose to fast throughout the first 9 days, while others increase in prayer, dhikr, charity, Qur’an recitation, and other good deeds.

If you’re unable to fast all or some of the first 8 days from tomorrow, then please remember that *all sins of the previous year and the coming year are forgiven if you fast on just ONE DAY on 9th of Dhul Hijjah (26th May)*

Alhamdolillah, we can also announce that
*Eid al-Adha* will be on *Wednesday 27th May*, In shā’Allāh. Please don’t forget to book a holiday from work and/or let schools know (if you have children).

May Allah ﷻ allow us to benefit from these blessed days and accept all our worship, good deeds and du‘ās. Ameen.

A gentle reminder that you are kindly invited to attend the Khatam Shareef (Fātiḥah / Īsāl-e-Ṣawāb) programme for the late Haji Chaudhry Rashid (Bromsgrove) which will take place today at 1.30pm at Redditch Central Mosque (1 Jinnah Road, Redditch, B98 7ER).

The programme is as follows:

1.30pm: Zuhr Jamaat, followed by Sunnah prayers and Qur’an reading

2.30pm: Speeches & Du’aa for the Deceased

3.15pm: Food served for guests & programme concludes
