Staff and Volunteer Development Day 2026

As a organisation we see the importance of coming together to plan for the next year. The team have come up with some great ideas to further enhance the life’s off young people and the community.

We are excited to role these new ideas out over the next twelve months.

It National Career’s Week

The Hub has played a significant role in supporting young people to explore and plan for their future careers through a range of targeted interventions and opportunities.

Over the past 12 months we have provided:

- Personalised CV writing support
- setting up college visits and support young people to attend appointments
- we organised a visit to the Army Careers Centre in Worcester
- supported the young people who attended our Alternative School Provision to gain AQA qualifications
-Supported young people to work towards CSCS accreditation and the health and safety test.
- we have provided two work experience placements for young people who want to move into a career in youth work.
- we provide volunteer opportunities across all our provisions, over the past 12 months a number of our volunteers have moved into paid roles.

AZTEC ADVENTURE PART 2

This weekend our Unstoppable went for there second summer visit to Aztec to try water support activities.

Most of the group had never been on the water before, so it was great to see them grow in confidence over the day.

Big thank you to all at Aztec Adventure for supporting with staffing and funding.

Pride 2026

It was great to take some of our young people to Birmingham pride last month. It was a fantastic day out and the sun was shining!

Thanks to SLC and WMT for their support in helping us get the young people and team there. We couldn’t have done it without you.

Youth Council Sponsored Walk.

The Youth Council undertook a sponsored walk earlier this year to raise money for young people’s mental health support.

The young people smash there target of £200, by raising £290. A big thank you to all that supported them. An incredible achievement 💪

VOLUNTEER WEEK

As we come to the end of Volunteer Week, we want to recognise the amazing people in our organisation who give their time to enhance the lives of young people and our community.

The Hub wouldn’t be able to do some of what we do without them.

AZTEC ADVENTURE

Our Unstoppables group went on their first trip of the year. We had a great time at Aztec Adventure big thank you to all the staff there for supporting with funding for the low rope course and archery activities.
making it a memorable day.
