Well here we go!!! Today we are relaunching Bruces Defibrillators Fundraising at the Aston Fields Social Club Summer Party. Got some sparkly new event equipment and Ian and Bruce are proud to model the new uniform!!! Pop in and see us to have a chat and find out how to use a Defib and give CPR. Oh and you can donate if you want to. Thanks to the Club for allowing us to ride on the back of what is going to be a great day out.

Bruces Defibs has donated equipment to 3 different football clubs recently, non of whom made it to the USA!

But sadly you can be a super fit athlete and be affected.

Many of you will remember in 2020 when footballer Christian Erikson collapsed on the pitch after suffering a cardiac arrest.

Due to the quick response from teammates and medics he now back to playing the sport he is famous for.

Here's to another quick recovery Christian (even though you did play for United!)

Well, 2 years ago I had a little bit of an issue after a Take That concert. This pretty much poleaxed me for 18 months, but I refuse to blame Gary and the boys.

Recently, with a lot of support from family and friends I have started to feel much stronger and feel able to start being a useful adult again, (don't!).

About 3 months ago I meet a man called Bruce Hims in Aston Fields Social Club who unbeknown to me had been raising money for 8 years to provide free defibrillators to the community of North Worcestershire, luckily Birmingham New Street already had one!

So far he has provided an incredible 28 defibs to the community including Sports Clubs, Charities, Businesses and Community Halls.

After a chat over a few beers we decided to work together to see if we could raise the profile of his work and hopefully raise some more money.

We have just set up a CIC ( Community Interest Company)called Bruce's Defibrillators Fundraising.
