Our volunteers have had a very busy weekend, supporting the community and events happening at Sanders Park for the Bromsgrove Carnival including the outdoor cinema on friday and the carnival yesterday! 🎉

A very hot but great weekend as always!

Our volunteers Lydia and Kerry have been out today enjoying a stable visit event at Furnance Mill Stud, being on hand for the visitors viewing and meeting the horses.
They experienced all weathers and even had a special meeting with THE one and only ICON Gary the Shetland pony 😎

Another great night of training for the volunteers at our weekly unit night in Bromsgrove.

This week the volunteers went through and had a go at Ten Second Triage scenarios to build awareness of and knowledge on major incidents.

A very informative session! 😎

At this week's unit meeting our volunteers got together for a trauma training session led by Ben.

Our team had the opportunity to look around one of the St John ambulance's, looking at the different equipment as well as having a go with the flashy lights and sirens! 😉🚑

The team also practised their skills in pelvic binders, airways and other trauma skills!

Our Bromsgrove volunteers have been out supporting the community in Droitwich, a great event that we look forward to covering more 👍

We’ve got Owen and Kerry supporting Droitwich Means Business at the Droitwich Spa Bike Night on Droitwich High Street tonight.

We’ve also had some exciting conversations around a drop-in ‘Biker Down!’ style first aid session at next months event on Thursday 11th June.

We’ll be in Saltbarrow Market (next to The Talbot Droitwich - Craddocks Brewery) from 5pm - 9pm giving hands on experience of the simple skills that save lives! We’ll also have a St John Ambulance on hand, as well as stickers for kids and adults alike!
